This clear fire extinguisher port installs in minutes and greatly lessens the risk of injury due to engine fires. The clear membrane allows you to visually inspect inside the engine compartment without opening it and adding oxygen to the fire. If a fire is suspected, just push the nozzle of your portable fire extinguisher through the membrane (membrane is scored to make this easier) and discharge per extinguisher instructions.

To install, just cut a 2" hole as high as possible on the engine compartment (where it is easily accessed). Slide tailpiece into hole, place membrane and trim ring on flange, and secure with 4 - #8 flat head screws (not included). Port is sealed, keeping moisture and dirt out of the engine compartment and noise & fumes in the engine compartment.
