Fire Ports

A boat fire port is a small window or opening in the hull or deck of a boat that provides access for firefighters to extinguish fires that may occur below deck. Fire ports are typically made of heat-resistant glass or plastic and are designed to prevent flames and smoke from spreading throughout the boat while allowing firefighters to see inside and aim their hoses. Boat fire ports are an essential safety feature for any vessel and are required by law in some jurisdictions.
