This very neat red and white side pin LED bulb allows you to switch back and forth with the flip of a switch!
Replaces G4 halogen bulbs in most overhead lights and doesn't require any fixture, wiring, or switch modifications to use the red/white function. When you turn the light on, it comes on red -great for night vision. Then, just turn the switch off and right back on for warm white that will light up your boat with a pleasing 3200k light! Leave the light off for about 10-15 seconds, when you turn it back on it returns to red.
No wiring or new fixture needed! Just change the bulb, then toggle the switch on / off / on to change colors!
Much lower amp draw than halogens (only 1.8 watts)
10 warm white (3200k) SMD chips provide 173 lumens or the equivalent of a 10W halogen bulb... without the heat or high amp draw!
6 red chips provide about 27 lumens -plenty for night vision.
Operates from 10-30 volts DC, includes filter for electromagnetic interference and voltage regulated to protect from voltage spikes.
