This large fire extinguisher port installs in minutes and greatly lessens the risk of injury due to engine fires. Just a quarter turn to open or close for easy access through the 3-3/4" opening. Includes an O ring seal to prevent water intrusion. Ideal for fire extinguishers with larger nozzles! The mounting flange just pops into a 4" hole, no fasteners required. Flange is very flush to avoid catching on lines, toes, etc. Slightly off-white color blends with most gel coats.
If a fire is suspected, just push the nozzle of your portable fire extinguisher through the opening and discharge per extinguisher instructions.

To install, just cut a 4" hole into the engine compartment (where it is easily accessed). Push flange & tailpiece into hole using the impact barbs to hold it in place (it will be a tight fit!). Port is sealed, keeping moisture and dirt out of the engine compartment and noise & fumes in the engine compartment.
