This fishing rod holder backing plate is solid 1/8" thick 304 stainless steel. It evenly distributes the stress of the mounting screws under the mounting surface for a much more solid installation. The elongated hole pattern fits all of our rod holders #PRE55501, #PRE55503, #PRE55505, #PRE55502 PANGA. Mounting slots allow flexibility so it fits many other rod holders.
