This light features an extremely bright white 50 watt halogen reflector bulb for maximum underwater lighting.  The naval bronze head and brass housing combined with a specially designed internal aluminum heat sink provide extremely long bulb life and a solid thru hull fitting you won't have to worry about.  Combined with the unique double borosilicate glass lenses which are heat, impact, and scratch resistant, this light can be run out of the water without over-heating!  The outer lens can be removed underwater for cleaning without pulling the boat.  Should both lenses ever be broken, the entire light is still sealed, so no water can penetrate the boat.

 

Easy to install, just cut a 2.5" hole, slide it in place, tighten the brass nut and set screws, and connect to switched 12V power!  The power cord is 9' long, and there is a bolt provided for a bonding connection.  It comes with a heavy gasket, but you may want to add some additional sealant.  If you ever need to change the bulb, it has a quick disconnect electrical fitting and an easy open back plate sealed with an O ring.  Since the light is sealed, you can change the bulb with the boat in the water.  The bulb is a standard G.E. MR-16 bulb that is readily available almost anywhere.

 

Head is 4" diameter, body is 2.375" diameter, and the entire light is 7.5" long.  Will accomodate transoms up to 3" thick.  Draws 4.16 amps at 12V!
