This surface mount dome light has an off-white base that blends with most ceilings and an on/off switch. The lightly frosted lens twist-mounts into the base for easy bulb replacement and maximum light output (you can see the bulb when the light is off). The 12V, 10 watt halogen bulb (included) is securely mounted in a ceramic socket with an aluminum reflector plate for heat dispersion. Mounts to any flat surface with 2 screws (not included) inside the lens, so the fasteners are hidden. Hook up the 2 wires and you're done.
Used on many boats and RVs for years, this is a great low-cost interior dome light!
