The EDV-2200 is the perfect dehumidifier for larger boats that are stored with 110V power available. It uses thermo-electric Peltier Technology to cool the air drawing moisture out and holding it in a spill-proof reservoir. Because it only has a small fan (no compressor) it is very quiet and uses minimal power. When the reservoir is full (2 liters) it automatically shuts itself off. This is perfect in a closed boat because if your dehumidifier runs all the time, constantly drawing moisture out of the air, it can actually over-dry the interior causing fabrics and upholstery to dry and crack.
